Gmc Truck

I have a 1989 GMC truck that will not start.What could be the problem?

I have replaced the module so that is not the problem. I was thinking of replacing the whole distributor but I want to find out exactly what the ignitor does first. Thank you and any suggestions would help!!!!!
It does turn over and it was stalling after starting. But this last time, it just won't start up again.

Is it TBI or carbureted ?
TBI will not start if the fuel filter is plugged.
If you have spark at the plugs it could be a fuel shortage,
Do you have fuel pressure ?possible bad pump.
Do you hear the fuel pump run by just turning the key to on not start position?(TBI)
If carburetter ,is their wet gas at the base of the fuel pump ?If so replace the mechanical fuel pump.

Need help identifying the exact model of my toyota truck.?

I need help finding out the exact model of my truck and i'm not having any luck on the internet. All i know about my truck is its a 1990 toyota pick-up 2wd rwd and it has a 3.0L V6.
I guess im looking for what the style is or whatever its called for if I wanted to buy parts off the internet, like they have the base, deluxe, SR5, etc.

If you can't find a trim level badge on the body, then find the ID sticker on the lower pillar of the driver's Side Door. Find where it says "Model", and find the 2nd digit after the dash.
