What is the right XACTO knife model to cut this type of wood?

I need to cut balsa wood that is 3/16 " thick and dowels that are 3/4" in diameter. Do I need different blades for both or will one be suitable? Also, do I need a saw blade or a regular blade and what model type? Please be specific.

For the balsa, a #1 handle and #11 blade would work just fine... Balsa is very light and easy to cut. Though I ALWAYS use a steel straight-edge to keep my cuts straight.

I don't know what wood your dowels are from, BUT an Xacto isn't the best tool. I would get a small razor saw... at hobby shop, you can get a razor saw AND small miter box for about $20 USD
