How do i fit a new glass window?

i have a pub and need to replace the glass in a broken window? any ides or tips would be helpful

Clean out the old window completely of all old caulking/gazing. If it has a wood frame it will have these itty bitty triangular shaped pieces of metal under the old caulking/glazing. They are called divets. Save the divets. Put in the new glass. Carefully put the divets back in to hold the glass in place. Glaze the window with glazing compound--or use caulking (I never have,but I have seen it done and it doesn't look bad).
Smooth the glazing or caulking while it is still pliable.

You are done.
